Hayley
SENIOR STYLIST
Hayley is a senior stylist at Enigma, who began her career in hairdressing in 2011, qualifying in NVQ levels 2 and 3. Over the years, she has completed various creative cutting and colouring courses and has a real passion for hairdressing. She joined the team in 2017, and has built up a regular clientele at Enigma since.
Hayley then went on to develop her skills further and in September 2019, she qualified as a hair extensions specialist, including Nano beads, Micro Rings, Tape and Celebrity Weave hair extensions.
Hayley is a friendly and bubbly person who takes pride in her work and loves creating new, creative and modern styles for all of her clients. Hayley has recently been on maternity leave, and as of April 2025 she has returned to Enigma, working Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. She can’t wait to see you in her chair!
Jenny
sENIOR STYLIST
Jenny is our full time senior head stylist with over 13 years experience in the hairdressing industry and has been at Enigma since September 2020. She is very passionate about her work in all areas, whether it is colouring, cutting or restyling.
Jenny has gained qualifications in her NVQ level 1, 2 and 3, as well as attending various advanced colouring course and hair exhibitions.
She is a sociable, enthusiastic, friendly person, who enjoys working with new people and always thrives to learn more. In the near future she is hoping to attend a Paul Mitchell advanced balayage course and progress in all aspects of men’s and women’s hairdressing.
ASHLEY
SENIOR STYLIST
Ashley began her career in hairdressing in 2007, qualifying in levels 1, 2 and 3. She went on to further develop her skills and qualified as a hair extension specialist, including nano rings and micro rings.
Since qualifying over 15 years ago, she has built a wealth of experience as a senior stylist, and is in demand of a loyal client base and looking forward to welcoming new clients into the salon.
In 2020, Ashley joined a lifelong colour mentorship programme which enables her to continually learn new techniques to bring to life in the salon. Perfecting her style as a hairdresser, she has worked creating hair behind television shows, photo shoots and assisting other hairstylists on fashion shows.
Ashley’s biggest highlights were in 2015, assisting styling hair for a photo shoot for some of the Made in Chelsea cast and helping direct and creating hair for 15 models in a local fashion show. Ashley’s love and passion for hair brings her strong visions to life. Ashley works in the salon Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
James
STYLIST
James started working at Enigma part time on Saturdays in March 2015, when he was just 16 years old. He then went onto become an apprentice and completed his NVQ Level 2 and 3, which was finalized in March 2019.
James loves all aspects of hairdressing including cutting and colouring. He creates creative colours everyday within our salon, using strong vivid and even pastel colours, not just your ordinary looks. James has attended a Paul Mitchell barbering course and has a strong passion for barbering.
James enjoys being a part of the Enigma team. He is currently a full time Stylist and is thriving, building up a regular clientele.
In future he would like to attend competitions and more courses to further develop in his career.
ILANA
JUNIOR STYLIST
Ilana is the youngest member of the Enigma team, and has been with us since 2021 where she joined us as a Saturday girl. She then began a level 2 apprenticeship in August 2023, and is soon to be qualified.
Ilana is a chatty and bubbly person who is passionate about learning new skills, and is excited to progress into a graduate stylist. She is really enjoying developing her cutting and colouring skills throughout her course.
She strives to provide the best experience for all Enigma clients. In the future, she hopes to explore more creative colouring techniques, diving into hair extensions, and is also soon to complete her hairdressing level 3 within Enigma.
