Meet The Team
Ashley
sENIOR STYLIST
Ashley began her career in hairdressing in 2007, qualifying in levels 1, 2 and 3. She went on to further develop her skills and qualified as a hair extension specialist, including nano rings, micro rings and tapes.
Since qualifying over 15 years ago, she has built a wealth of experience as a senior stylist, and is in demand of a loyal client base and looking forward to welcoming new clients into the salon.
In 2020, Ashley joined a colour mentorship programme which enables her to continually learn new techniques to bring to life in the salon. Perfecting her style as a hairdresser, she has worked creating hair behind television shows, photo shoots and assisting other hairstylists on fashion shows.
Ashley’s biggest highlights were in 2015, assisting styling hair for a photo shoot for some of the Made in Chelsea cast and helping direct and creating hair for 15 models in a local fashion show. Ashley’s love and passion for hair brings her strong visions to life. Ashley works in the salon Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
James
SENIOR STYLIST
James started working at Enigma part time on Saturdays in March 2015, when he was just 16 years old. He then went onto become an apprentice and completed his NVQ Level 2 and 3, which was finalized in March 2019.
James loves all aspects of hairdressing including cutting and colouring. He creates creative colours within our salon, using strong vivid and even pastel colours, not just your ordinary looks. James has attended a Paul Mitchell barbering course and has a strong passion for barbering.
James enjoys being a part of the Enigma team. He is currently a full time Stylist and is thriving, building up a regular clientele.
In future he would like to attend competitions and more courses to further develop in his career.
Katelyn
STYLIST
Katelyn started working at Enigma in 2025, with just over 2 years of salon experience. She holds both her level 2 and 3 qualifications. Specialising in weave extensions, colour services and precision cutting, she is passionate about creating beautiful results tailored to every client.
Katelyn will be in the salon Monday Tuesday Wednesday Friday and Saturday, where she offers a friendly, professional experience and takes the time to understand each clients individual style and goals.
Katelyn is starting to build up a regular clientele and looks forward to welcoming you into the salon.
Amelia
JUNIOR STYLIST
Amelia started working at Enigma in 2025 as our Junior Stylist. She holds both her level 2 and 3 qualifications. Since qualifying, Amelia is working on developing her cutting and colouring techniques.
Amelia is warm and welcoming and believes that great hair can transform how someone feels. You will find Amelia in the salon on Wednesdays Fridays and Saturdays. Currently building up her clientele, Amelia looks forward to welcoming you into the salon.
